Venue - indoors or out?

Depending on your numbers and the time of year, we have different options for you.

Our function room provides a private area with exclusive use for up to 18 guests seated or up to 30 with a mix of seating and standing room, plus a small outside area.   This room is at road level with only 2 steps to gain access, so may be more appropriate if you have guests with limited mobility.  Please note that we do not have wheelchair access or disabled toilets.

Our main bar can seat up to 20 people with room for up to 40 with a mix of seating and standing room.  This can only be accessed via a flight of 12 steps.

Our beautiful beer garden can accommodate up to 120 seated or 300 with a mix of seating and standing room, which is ideal during the summer months for larger groups.   Our garden has an outside bar and as it is terraced over 3 levels, we can give you exclusive use of one or more levels depending on numbers.

Catering, flowers and other arrangements

We do not offer set menus as we would rather discuss your wishes with you.  We can cater for almost any requirements.   Our buffet option is the most popular and can include a mixture of hot and cold finger food enabling your guests to move around and talk to each other to celebrate the life of your loved one.

Whether you just want to use us as a venue to provide food and refreshments or for us to help with other arrangements such as flowers or collecting charity donations, we are here to help - let us know what you would like and we will make sure it happens for you, stress free.
